Hello, Makira here. Still working on August’s winners. Having to do all from my phone is slowing me down. Should have it done in a bit. 🙏😁
Welcome back, dear crafter; this little craft blog belongs to Makira.
Five little crafters bought some tickets and went on an adventure in the wide, wide world of theme parks.
Through the portal they went, down the pathways, alongside the waterways, near the green grass, and up an incline one after another. And when they got to the Stardust Racers, one little crafter wasn’t there. Now, where in the world was that pokey little crafter?
She wasn’t at the Wizard World of Harry Potter-Ministry of Magic, the Dark Universe, Supernintendo World, or Isle of Berk. But when they looked at the Carousel, there was the pokey little crafter.
What in the world is she doing at the carousel? She sees something! Beautifully magical animals gliding along. The others could see them too. Off they went as fast as they could. But one crafter lacked inspiration from the new sights & sounds of Epic Universe; instead, she went to the inspiration page for guidance.
“I see something,” said the pokey little crafter. Then the three little crafters were amazed. “Diane’s make. It’s beautiful!” they said.
Diane from Nellie’s Nest, our guest designer this month, was clearly inspired by the inspiration photo this month. Not just her image, but the sentiment as well.
After some time, home they went. And there, sure enough, their craft room was waiting for them, with ink, paint, stamps, yarn, and more. Makira, Eden, and CZ waited until their return to inspire us with something new. What good little crafters. Come, enjoy their makes.
CZ was inspired by the beautiful blues of the sky seen in the upper part of the carousel’s ceilingMakira, inspired by the pinks & purples found in the ride.Eden’s inspiration comes from the name of the ride…constellation.
“Dear me!” said Makira. “You don’t know how to join us?” Well, it’s as easy as pie! Just add your link to the Inlinkz below or tag us @parkhoppingmyhappyplace on Instagram. But if that feels too tricky, don’t worry. Simply send a picture and your details to Makira at makira@parkhoppingmyhappyplace.com, and she’ll make sure your entry is right where it should be.
Oh my, this month brings a brand-new twist to our challenge words! No guesses yet? No ideas at all? Haven’t you listened closely to the whispers of the author’s quill? Haven’t you found the answer waiting there? Why, every clever crafter ought to make a guess below!
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in last month’s challenge! Thank you so very much for your kind words, prayers, and patience. It is truly appreciated. Without further ado, here are our winners…
