January’s Center Stage Designers & Winner

We have our Center Stage Designers for January!

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in last month’s challenge! WOW! We were blown away by the creativity and talent displayed in all your entries. Each and every project was truly spectacular, making our task of selecting the top three incredibly challenging. Without further ado, here are our winners…

#8—Ellen, with a great use of die cuts. Reminds me of the Ratatouille ride at Epcot in Florida & Disneyland Paris.

#19, Carianne, inspired by unicorns. Love the use of the “out of the box” die set. This card brings back memories of the Flying Unicorn ride (now Flight of the Hippogrif) at Universal Florida.

#53, Kathy—inspired by Epcot’s “Drinking Around the World.” Love her choice of sentiment & image. It does remind me of the old Norway ride Maelstrom, that was in Epcot.

So no one told you crafting was going to be this way.
Creative block, you’re stuck, you craft life’s DOA,
It’s like you’re glue stick is running out of cheer.
When your stamps won’t stick, your papers just flip, and creativity’s nowhere near.

But, I’ll be there for you, when the ink starts to run.
I’ll be here for you, like Mr. Mic, Mary, and more.
I’ll be there for you, ’cause you’re art inspires me too.

We’re hopping to a park, the one where you can eat.
Parque del Cafe today, where coffee’s a real treat.

Our designers have made pieces just for you,
Should they help make your day, your week, your month, or bring you some cheer?

Please be there for them when the comments are poor.
Leave your love for their work, just like you did before.
Share some kind words, ‘cause they inspire us too!

Makira is clearly inspired by this month’s mood board featuring Parque de Cafe.
Eden created this card using a retired stamp set from Stamping Bella. The unicorn theme can be found at different parks the world over.

Each and every project was truly spectacular, making our task of selecting the top three incredibly challenging. Without further ado, here are our winners…

#8—Dawn Inspired by Christmas. Love the beachy Christmas scene! It reminds me of the Wintersummerland minigolf by Blizzard Beach Water Park in DisneyWorld.

#19, Carianne, inspired by the Country Bear Jamboree. The coloring on this little guy is precious! This card and the little bear reminds me of Disney’s Duffy bear; very popular in Tokyo.

#70 Meghan—inspired by penguins. I love her the neutral tone the card has. Gorgeous! Reminds me when Sea World had a penguin “encounter.”
