If you’re reading this because you think you might be a crafter, my advice is: hide your credit card now.
We could start at any point, but things really start going swimmingly this month as our crafting adventure takes a field trip to PortAdventura in Spain.
Our names are Makira and Eden. Are we a crafty group? Yeah. You could say that.
Makira led the park choice this month. She searched through countless websites, looking for the perfect summer getaway. A gathering at a waterpark, where we can float along a lazy river.

I have a surprise for you, we are collaborating with another challenge.
Two weeks of collaboration — starting as soon as you hop to their blog.
Hey, demigods! Just toss some embossing or stenciling into your Park Hopping project, and boom! You might just snag a random draw prize at Double Trouble. Easy as nailing a monster with Riptide!
Confession time: I ditched the water park theme as one of our DT projects. Yeah, I know, I know. It is normal, I swear. Whenever we’re not inspired by the current theme park choice, we get to pick a different one. So, water slides and wave pools? Not today. Maybe next time, Poseidon.
A word about our design team, before you see their makes. Their names are Eden and Makira, and they have a love of theme parks. The best break they ever got was vacationing at US theme parks. We love them. We’d been going there since Eden was a baby. Makira had been going even longer.
If their creations win you over, we humbly ask you to head over to their profiles and shower them with the awesome dewdrops of your kind comments. Trust me, it’ll make their day – maybe even more than discovering you’re a demigod!

To join this month’s epic trek, grab your crafting tools and art supplies to create something truly legendary. Share your masterpiece by dropping a link in the Whimsilinkz at the bottom of this post, or light up Instagram with your brilliance by tagging @parkhoppingmyhappyplace. Let’s see what you’ve got, heroes!
If you have left your shield at an abandoned water park and are lacking inspiration, go check out our inspiration page. The opportunity to be ignited is there.
In a way, it’s nice to know there are challenges out there. For instance, you’re reading this month’s post, which has just changed, most people would think that’s just really bad luck; when you’re a crafter, you understand that it is just a creative exercise. Any guesses on who might be the latest mimic author? Share your thoughts below!
Whenever you are ready, we are here. Here to welcome your participation.
Take care. Keep your eyes open! Makira

Hmmm. Could your author mimic perhaps be Percy Jackson? Ummm, I mean Rick Riordan!
Thanks also for once again for inspiring the masses with your wonderful cards. And, as always, for your generous spirits!
